About Hanna

I am constantly inspired and intrigued by our body’s ability to recover from physical injuries or stressors from life in general. While I spend much of my time reading and learning about the emotional, physical, and spiritual aspects of the body, my greatest teacher has been life itself and receiving bodywork myself. Inspired by nature, I spend my time outdoors as much as possible whether i’m relaxing at the beach, reading, writing or just going on a walk. I enjoy being active in general, cooking, dancing, and watercoloring or drawing.

Mission

My ultimate goal through bodywork, is to create a safe space, where my client experiences communication from their own body and ultimately gets to know more of themselves with every session. Sensation created through caring, intentional touch, informs you, the client, and myself about where we need to spend more time doing more detailed and precise work.

You are the most essential piece to your own healing. Through conversations with my clients, together, we create a personalized massage with each visit, tailored to your needs in that given moment. I very much enjoy anatomically problem solving with my clients to get closer to the root of pain, discomfort, misalignment, and tension patterns.

With my invaluable education at the Asheville School of Massage and Yoga in 2015-2016, I learned and enjoy integrating Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial, sports, craniosacral, shiatsu, and trigger point techniques.

I am currently practicing and continuously studying Craniosacral with the Upledger Institute and look forward to sharing more of this profound work with you, as craniosacral can get to the “root” of many tension patterns, in a gentle and effective way.
